Mike - I think I have a similar setup on my Mystere. What I struggle with is that if you shorten the barberhauler on one side, you are making it longer on the other side. So at the next tack / gybe, you have to adjust again, the opposite way, right?
And if you don't uncleat before the tack/gybe, you'll have to get the crew to crawl to the leeward side to uncleat the barberhauler so you can pull it in...
At least that's what I've understood of the system so far...I may be missing a few pieces of the workings here. Comments?
