The lighter side..
I can right singlehanded in a blow, while my friend on his 18 could not, so we would go out in 18 knots and have a blast. There was no other traffic to speak of in these fall conditions. We had it down. He would capsize and get all set to right (sort of trapped out with the boat on its side) I would reach by, head up and reach up and grab him by the neck/shoulders. My boat would get out the way, didn't capsize but just sort of pinched up, fell off, pinched up...We would right, scramble aboard, clean up the sheets and haul off to transfer back, It required expeditious work to get to my boat and step across before it got to the marsh. This was set to our rendition of James Bond theme music.Dont try it at home. Idiots on closed course.
But then he also tried that Hobie movie thing of trapping out on my shoulders...got as far as hiking out with him standing on my shoulders when my hiking strap broke....
Or when he flew a hull onto the beach with the crew on the wire... (the guy on the wire's first time out, and he kept his footing)...his excuse..."We were going so good..."
