According to Hobie the comptip is fiberglass.

Had the beginings of some cracks in mine last season. Laid it up with cloth and resin and it performed just fine all last season.

Your damage looks significant.

Probably a used comptip through Ebay or an area dealer would be the safest approach in the long run.
