Wouter, maybe you know the answer to this. I have never really been sure whether the sail number goes to the sailor or to the boat. If I have an F16 number approved by the F16 class, and if I sell the boat, does that number stay with the boat, or does it stay with me?

I would think it would stay with me, but in that case, do I strip the number off the sails when I sell the boat so the new owner can join the class and get their own number assigned?
