The new course should be great! If the attached picture works, it starts on the south (left) of mid-causeway, heads out into the gulf, north (right) past Honeymoon Island and 3 Rooker Bar, then back south to the NORTH side of the causeway. Here spectators can see the midpoint turn by just walking across the street from the start. There may be a triangle course here for a lengthened spectator opportunity. Then you return around Honeymoon to the finish. I sailed it on Sunday and found lots of deep water and a large new bay we rarely sail. The water is still 75 and the air was 80 (although it has cooled since then).
