I will vouch that the Etrex Legend (while being a terrific item that I don't leave home without!) does not like being trolled from the trampoline lacing behind a sailboat in the ocean. However, the fact that it still works at all is incredible (you just have to give it a fonzi style slap occasionally to get the display to come on! )
