I'm looking at making a cover for my Hobie 16 as I intend leaving it down at our beach site more often. A cover which will provide protection from the sun and sand-blasting. The boat would be left on the trailor over night on occassion with the mast up. Just looking for some advise and tips from anyone who has made one before or got such a cover before I tackle the sewing machine ie. different shapes? velcro? any advise would be appreciated.
