Forty-three years ago, when my wife and I were first married and I had three boats around the house, I said to her quite seriously, "for a true sailor, it's easier to get a new wife than it is to "get rid of a good boat"! Now, forty-three years later we are still happily married, and there is still a multitude of boats that dominate our home. The moral, from my perspective is to lay out the ground rules in unmistakable terms (as long as they are not completely "unreasonable") at the start of any "venture", and then there should be only the minimum of misunderstandings along the journey. Worked for us, god bless her.
