I've sailed #032 a few years ago--very solid boat and I'm sure it will be a fabulous value to whoever buys it. I know the newer sails have seen very, very little use.

Wouter--don't suggest the boat be cannibalized though; it's in solid shape. If I were to buy it I'd leave it as is and just sail/race it. If the buyer were hung up about 6 inches of width--I'm wounldn't be--then they would be better off installing new beams and tramp to "optimize" it rather than dismantling an otherwise perfectly solid F16.

As far as the age of the boat goes, Taipans are known to NOT show there age thanks to the workmanship of AHPC. Every year the Australia Taipan championships see older hull #s placing very high. For years, I think 003 has been winning the cat-rigged division.

Great to see a solid 2nd hand F16 available, and for my own self-serving reasons I'd love to see it driven our West.
