I thought it was a glass boat with with original contruction method with seams hidden by the pinstripe. I do know that it is standard width for the 4.9. The F16 modifications are all in the sail plan, as far as I know.
Actually, glass and kevlar (I think).
Unless anybody's put a hole in it, please don't cannibalize it - the boat was competetive. Better to buy a new boat and keep Spellbound in competition - the more boats the better. I had no issues the last time I sailed it (right after I got the new main).
