Seriously, it was great to be there and thankfully being on the safety boat wasn't very busy. I do think it helped to have a cat sailor on board. The people I were with were very knowledgable about sailing but not cats. They were very thrilled to see how the starts went-- the time came, the boats fell off, tightened up, and took off like banshees. Try that in a monohull! I think the cat knowledge helped the first several days- "no, don't take the mainsail down while you are on the side- even if the boom is bent- you need it to get the boat upright." And knowing some terminology so that replacement parts were available on shore.

Anyway, enough tooting my own horn. It was a great time, hopefully next time I will spend more time on the beach- or... on the water
