My ideas about trophies are sometimes a bit weird, but I think that if I were a Hobie 14 sailor, it would be neat to win a piece of an ancient Hobie 14 as memorabilia, since they don't make them any more.
I would have taken the bows and mounted them on the wall so it looked like the wind had punched them in from the outside.
