Speaking of differences in hulls: My '77 H-16 has identical hull numbers. The hulls are yellow, but age has taken a toll and the paint has faded, But the strange thing is one hull has drastically faded and the other has faded only a bit, It now looks like I have two different colored hulls. One a bright yellow, and the other a subtle yellow-tinged cream color. My compulsive neatnick neighbor can't stand it and keeps telling me to paint the boat.

I'm guessing the hulls got caught up in a pigment change at the factory, and the inventory system that manages the match-up of left and right hulls allows for vastly different dates of manufacture of the two hulls. That would explain the foam differences, too.
