1714 is a good plywood boat. It has been well looked after by Gordon, always garaged. He has used the new Irwin sail 10 times maybe, not much anyway. As it has mostly been sailed in salt water you might look at changing beams when you have some downtime if you purchased it and maybe update some hardware, that would be more personal choice rather then a necessity. Certainly Gordon could sail it for the rest of the season and a few more without much doing much work on it. Very good two pack paint.

With Jetstar flying out of Avalon it would cost you about $250 to fly to ADL and hire a car for a day, to me it makes more sense then buying unseen.

I can take some photos if you want, Gordon lives around the corner from me.

I have attached a pic from when we where tuning up the Irwin, it is a couple of months old, mostly a picture of the sail but you can get an idea of the what the boat is like.
