Was out practicing the "Wild Thing" over the weekend and got a little too "wild"- Ended up going through the lower panel (window!) of my old Goodall mylar mainsail (and I really love that sail!)- Managed to sail in and all the tears are confined to the lower panel between the reinforced areas (pretty much the window ripped out).

So- as I see it I have three options-

1) Trash the sail- :-(

2) Cut the bottom off and add a new clew grommet and cunningham/downhaul grommet to use as a "super high wind" 4.9 sail or to mess around with on my P 15 or H 14.

3) Have the bottom panel replaced/repaired and keep it as a spare 4.9 mainsail.

Ideas or comments??
