Some padawan that will remain nameless tied a sphincter-load of granny knots to secure the lacing after he had tightened it. It was impossible to untie these knots without destroying the lacing. Plus, trying to remove the tramp while that lug was jammed in the track would have taken a mastery of the force that even I do not possess.
