Looking at your picture and from what I remember I think your attachment point is a little far back. It's like your beam should be another 12"-18"'s forward from it's current spot and then it would be right. I use to run my jib in the second hole up from the bottom so you do have some play in it. I just don't think you have that much play in the attachment point. I think you will be closing the leech at the top too quick and your tell tales will constantly break at the bottom because you can't sheet it enough without losing flow at the top.

One solution could be to run the jib up the forestay about a foot more. This would corect the issue if you have the room to do it.
