In regards to mast set up, "bite me" we use internal downhaul (much tidier and works well) with diamonds going all the way to the mast base plate, shrouds coming off in front and diamonds from where diamonds are supposed to be attached at the top, with T Balls.

Happy to send you some pics if you want, we will have the internal downhauls system simplified this winter so it can be fitted easily and by anyone, hope for it to be all "cassette" assy....just easy.
