Posts: 1,246 Orlando, FL | It seems that RC treat DNF's the same as DNS's....points equal one more than the total boats registered.
Why is this?
Shouldn't those that make it to the start (but not finish) get a better score than those that drink coffee (or beer) on the shore?
And what is the proper protocol when racing, and clearly last, with a leg (or two) to complete...while everyone is waiting to go again? I'd just assume sail to the start and line them up again; however, if you don't finish, and queue up for another start you get a DNF (scoring the same as a DNS) and making everyone else wait more time.
