A problem with my new diamond wires. The lower hole is too small. Its where the wires bolt on with the rotation bar. I figure I would have to drill out the holes an extra 1/4 inch. Can this weeken the diamond wires to the point I have to worry. The part was labled correctly for what I ordered.

I would call hobie. I would not do anything to my diamond wires except reinforce them. the forces are large and the cost is small to get it right. They might have screwed up (pardon the pun). My $.02
