Does anyone know what the intent is for the Alter Cup boats after the race? I assume they will be sold. Are they already spoken for? If not, what will they sell for?

I sold my A Class two days ago and would like to pick up an F16 to race and sail with my kids or single handed. My partner on Daddio (RC-27) is looking for a boat and maybe one other at the Rudder Club is looking too. It would be pretty sweet to pick up three of them to bring back to Jacksonville.

You are not accepting PMs. I know the prices more or less, but ide rather not post it up publicly.

There are a few second hand F16s currently on the quite market. Send me a pm or email and I can will let you know about the specifics.

Matt had three of the Alter boats a few weeks ago when I talked to him and also might sell you his race boat. Contact him at http://www.vectorworkssail.com/contact.html

I did some testing/training against a 2007 Blade this weekend (same basic platform as used for the Alter Cup) and this design is really coming together. New daggerboard design, new rudder setup, new stiffening tweaks inside the hulls, etc. (If my information is correct).

Anyway, I think those Alter Cup boats will be very good boats to snatch up.

But as always, I advice everybody to get a test sail on one to determine whether an F16 is a boat for you. Don't just take my word for it. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well if we get 3 F-16 at the Rudder club I just might have to sell the tornado and get one too.
