They make battery powered sock and glove warmers. I wonder if they make . . . never mind. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

come on now pete, I was there and my Florida blood is about as thin as it gets. With the proper attire, my shivering did not shake the boat enough to mess up performance signifcantly. If I can man-up an sail in those conditions, anyone can!!!!

Correction: He was once called a (sentence enhancer).

If you can get Tback to committ, I'm in! I can be a "manly man" too. . . sort of.

Hey Guys,

I was at Spring Fever this year. With the proper gear it was not to bad (except Sat). I am also originally from the tropics and I survived. That was record lows, so (unless climate change kicks in big) it will be warmer in subsequent years.

I saw a Blade F16 over there. It was pretty awesome.

This is also a great race to get exposure for the class.

Cheers, Waldo

And here the photographic evidence of the first F16 attending Springfever since 2003.

[Linked Image]

In that year 2003 I think Jennifer Lindsay and Micheal Coffman raced at springfever and of course in 2002 we a class of F16's there. It was cold and rainy back then.

This year the only F16 at Spring Fever was a new Blade.

I only got one race in Friday as I lost a shackle on my main sheet block in the second race - apparently I was supposed to tighten it! The cold weather Saturday was too much for the Canadian so I didn't go out.

But I still got my first sail on the new Blade, and I can't wait to get out again, as soon as it gets warm enough!
