I found some interesting technical info on the boats which entered the 2002 A class EUROS in the French A class web site. They were extracted from the report of the Official Measurers. If you are interested go to: http://afcca.free.fr and click on: Euro 2002: Rapport and analyses de la Jauge

This would be great when combined with mast, sail and boat manufacturer, sailor weight and finish place.



Then we could see if, as many nay sayers suspect, that it is necessary to buy a new boat to compete at the national or world level.



Of interest is that two of the Spanish boats were the lightest, by a healthy margin. One by seven pounds.
