Would the newswift (5/16 inch) (new sort of swiftcord from maffioli) be a good solution for both mainsheet and spin sheet? (Nacra F18)? perhaps with something thinner spliced in?

Thanks, Sander

I personally do not like the New Swift as much as the older stuff. It is too stiff in the hand. The older Swiftcord is like wearing slippers around the house, very comfy. I also like the Conception and Apex.

Later,
Dan

I think it is the nicest on the hands comparing old Swiftcord, Conception, and the Apex. Unfortunatly it only comes in yellow that I know of so you can only use it once on your boat if you are color concerned, which I am. We use it for the spinnaker sheet. Nothing is too good for my crew.

Personally I like the new FSE Robline Racing Sheet. Comes in several colors and pretty much every size. I've also had success in splicing it to 12 strand amsteel blue for "tapered" applications. It's similar to the Maffioli but I think it has a better feel to it.
