My friend just put new shrouds and forestay on his F-17 (nee I-17R). The old ones appear to be 5/32", the new ones appear to be 1/8". Can any of you F-17 guys confirm that Performance went to the smaller diameter?

1/8" is now the "norm". My old set (2004) was also the larger size. Is he "pimping" so he can participate in the nationals??

Thanks, Bob. Sure looks skinny compared to the old stuff. After I explained to him what "pimping" meant, he indicated that he was just doing routine maintenance.
