Hey folks. Just checking in to let you guys know that I finally bought a N5.2 today! You all were a big help with my questions back in November/December. Thanks. She is a real "starter". Haha. Which one of you N5.2 guys are the closest to Chattanooga so I might get some help with getting this thing sorted out and seaworthy? Thanks.
I wish I was nearby, I would be out tomorrow to help! I just raced in an informal thing on Lake Thunderbird today on my 5.2 and did well. They are a blast solo! and almost as good with a friend. Enough power so that I was really enjoying my time alone on the boat today. But also subdued enough that when my friend who had never sailed before came over she wasn't scared.
Good luck getting it together, you will have a blast!

I am really hoping that I can, just looking into things right now and it looks like a yes.
Oh and just so you all know, Saturday I took second in the local club race, and spend both Sunday and today sailing and learning more about my 5.2. I really haven't had the boat long so I learn alot each and every day I am out.

Doug, I actually have the book already and read it all the time. It has really helped me make the boat go faster! The movies would be great but those are expensive and I am about to pour alot of money into my upcoming project.

Yeah, I ordered the book yesterday and I am really looking forward to it. If I can get enough out of the book then I will definitely get the dvd's. Thanks.
Reading is out thing, and there are some pics in the book. BUT seeing it is actions is REALLY sweet. You can put it in slow motion and really see what is going on.
