Last weekend we had the honor and pleasure of hosting Ricks' seminar at our sailing club in Sdot Yam, on the med coast.
11 cats, 22 sailors with 44 opinions, 2 languages ....
Absolutely insane weather on the first day, wind from all directions, 0 - 25 knots and back down again, several times.... <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Luckily it got better, with the last day almost perfect
Rick did a great job teaching us in the class and on the water, and managed to overcome the language barrier with a bit of help <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
There is no doubt that the level of cat sailing in Israel got better last week, and we're already discussing another seminar next year <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Thanks, Opher. Rick said it is catamaran heaven there. And he said the country is beautiful. We had a cats-and-dogs party Saturday so Rick could show a slide show of all the pictures of the seminar and your beautiful beach and his tour around Israel.

(Cats-and-dogs is what we call our cat fleet meetings in Key Largo, because when we have meetings at our house, everybody brings their dogs so they can play in our fenced yard while we talk about cats. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)
