I am looking for a cheap, used A class cat, in any condition (plywood is fine, I don't mind having to fix it up), with a good rig (aluminum is fine), and preferably a trailer. Can I find this for $1000 or less?

Found this on the USACA site. I don't think you will find much for $1000. Maybe basket case more trouble than worth.

I just purchased a '93 Boyer MK II for $3k in good sailable cond. I have seen the occaisional $1K boat advertised over the years, but you might have to wait a while.
