Hi Guys,
I am just putting together an F17 and I can't figure out how to attach the spin pole. Specifically, how do I attach both sets of bridles to the hulls? In the box came 2 metal tabs, each an inch long or so and with 2 holes drilled in. The holes were 1/4" and a smaller one. That works great for 1 set of bridles but what about the other one?

Does anyone have pics?
Dave

On mine it was thus; but remember I had a full length sock on a 2000 boat. It may well be different now.

1, There were two double bent bits of stainless that were mirror of each other, one end was bent 90degress and the other about 45; thus the 90degree was for the center pole to the bridal the 45 degree was for the front of pole.

2, 2 bar shackels were also included

3, Attached the forestay and the bent stainless (45 degree angle forward and inboard) to the side of the hull with a shackle - you can get the stainless plate (90 and 45) above the stanless that is poking out of the hull and then get the forestay over the top so that the plate is resting against the hull fitting - the hull fitting is on the inside of the hull and the plate outside of it.

3, Wire ran from both sides of the pole at the front (rivited on via eyes) that were attached to the 45 degree angle by way of a shackle

4, Wire ran fromm the middle of the pole out to the bridal and these were also attached to the 90 angle protion of the stainless

You can see some detail on this picture (but it's V hi-res so I have not displayed it

Yes that setup would work, and that is what is shown in the manual. However I didn't get the double bent bits of metal, just two 1" tabs with a hole in either end. I was just wondering if the setup had changed or else I was shorted some parts.
