how about the nacra 5.5 uni? my big question is how this boat handles in the big ocean? Is it a pitchpole machine? and how will it perform with 2 guys, total weight of about 350? With added aso? thanks for any and all replies.

Raced against some 5.5s in the SF Bay. Most ocean sailing is not as extreme--the Bay can be 25 knots with 3 ft square chop--very challenging on a cat. (Rolling swells in the ocean are much easier to deal with.) The 5.5s handled it well. The 5.8s handled it really well.
