Posts: 461 Sydney Australia | C'mon guys, lighten up. I happen to think these pics provide a very good opportunity to look at his setup and check out the boat. Interesting it seams to have very little rocker and I notice it has a quite flat sectional profile also. Very high aspect boards too Wouter. A coupla other observations; interesting fore deck to the stays. There appears to be a batten in the sail foot, he carries 90 deg. rotation for going wild, sail has max. draft at the spreaders, very flat down low and the head is really standing up well in the breeze which looks to be about 10 / 12 knots.
In the context of recent discussions about sail trim and hull form, I think this is a valid post to incite discussion and provide good information, and no I don't have any connection with Glen or his business interests and sadly for me, I don't even own an A class. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Posts: 1,226 Atlanta | Glenns shirt reminds me of the daggerboards Bill Vining made for his A-cat.. Perhaps he has been lurking around here, or Bill is really good at predicting fashion Glenn called me a couple of weeks ago inquiring about that print. | | | Re: Winning A-Class Form

Posts: 461 Sydney Australia | To me it looks like the mast is rotated more like 110deg, but less (90?) in stronger winds.
You could be right. Are those boards cambered? | | |
