Hardly anything in the west, but I see Lakes Entrance is preparing for a high tide as well as the floods, they're busy with the sandbags, hope all is Ok.

If it were spread out over a few weeks and statewide it would be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Hi all,

thanks for the concern. All mossie sailors in area are OK. Mind you Tim's property and old house is underwater <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />. But his new house which was built on a man made mound above flood level is high and dry <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Besides which Hebel blocks float <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />, I saw some floating around his property <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />.

Don't mean to make all you inland sailors jealous but I will attach a couple of photos, to give you a idea. In general at Paynesville we can still get around, but some areas are underwater, with quite a few houses under water <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. Ground level of yacht club is underwater also. It's going to be a big clean up could be weeks away yet <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.

It is nice the see the water level graph for sugarloaf is finally on the way up. At this stage the club is closed for sailing due to the low water level but hopefully this will not be for long. I now have to pull the finger out and get Lemon Peel repainted and put back together!

P.S. Thanks for the water restriction photo.

The sign says it all really <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Is there somewhere you can look up graphs for water storages? Theres a couple I'd like to keep an eye on, over the next few months.

Regards

Ben,

I saw some footage on the news of Lake Glenmaggie full for the first time in many years and overflowing. It really looked quite dangerous <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

At least Clint and Chris Burgess will now be able to do some home club races next season.

Link to BOM Graph of Glennmaggie storage is provided below:

Regards,

Peter
