I am in Bournemouth and every event that I go to is North or East from here. I can't think of any events/strong cat fleets down West.

Come to think of it, Restronguet is a good cat club, near falmouth.

did you buy that 18 square?

Think there are a few cats at Pentewan

Also, how southwest ?

There is Highcliffe, Parkstone, North Devon YC, Starcross, Rock.

There is a club locator on the Y+Y website.

The F18 nationals are at Weymouth on 25/26/27 july.

Isn't Rock a bit dodgy with daggerboards?

I raced there once - ran onto a sandbank in last race of Catapult UK Nationals in 1988 <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Pulled boat across bank and still finished 1st <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Won 3 out of 4 races <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
No Trophy <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
