Went for a sail today and just noticed one of the pics showed the main having alot of twist. How much twist should the main have going up wind?
I noticed the boat was really powering up with the head of the main being open.

Any comments would be good.
Thanks
william

Sail twist always depends on wind and sea conditions, less in light and more in rough. Twist controls tipping motion of boat, if struggling to hold boat down let main off just a little at a time till you are happy with it. Generally les twist makes it point better, adjusting traveler to get best speed is next issue. [color:"red"] [/color]
