Please find attached a attachment of the F16 trophy which the class is going to use during WC. It is almost ready, it needs to be cleaned and the little plaque needs to put on. So this is where it is all about, being the best F16 sailor in the world.

Very nice trophy. I spent some time yesterday looking at the Zandvoort SC website, in particular the photos and results. Maybe a broken mast and snapped centreb'ds or rudders would be more appropriate!!! The waves on the beach look very nasty indeed Also, 50% of the Cats which entered the REM race did so without Spi's. Is there something you're not telling us about the prevailing winds and conditions at Zandvoort?

Is that picture from the Netherlands? When did Connie Brown travel from California to Zandvoort? If I was to guess I would say the picture was from the Hobie Tiger worlds in Calif. some time back now.
Nice trophy! Obviously based on the Taipan hullform, but I'll not make an issue of that I expect that it is an perpetual trophy which the winner keeps only until the next event?
10 out of 10 for observation Rolf. It's called Welsh humour mixed with a bit of Artistic Licence. But I think it does have a striking similarity of what I imagine the North Sea and particularly Zandvoort could get like on an ugly day.

Jikes! I would not have gone out in those conditions. Surf is something we rarely launch in "up here". Do you really go out with cats in surf like that?

You sometimes try, I did once, broken tramp, cracked rudder blade and a bent gudgeon.
