We're going to Las Vegas to pick up a new/used Prindle 16 and sail Lake Mead for a couple of days. At night of course we'll have to indulge in various morally questionable activities. Has anyone sailed there and know of any "friendly" sandy beaches? Any other hints for a newbie on the Lake?

Oh man, do I remember Sandy Beaches?!?! She was a show girl at the MGM Grand about twenty years ago. I met her at the backstage bar. One thing led to another and... oh wait, you were asking about places to sail. Sorry. The flashbacks seem to come more frequently as I get older.

Sandy Beach?

Once I was driving badly in Mexico on my way south to surf Baja. I kinda cut off some local and he yelled out something like "Sunny Beach".

I guess he was happy for me cuz I was gonna have a good day.
