Posts: 5,590 Naples, FL | Just debating the various options for sailing in this multihull length (26-32 feet). I've seen Corsairs, Farrier, and Sea Cart for trimarans.
Only seen Lightspeed 32 in the catamaran category. I'm sure I am missing lots of other options (in both groups).
This size is too small for bluewater cruising, so maybe just stick to the daysailing/racing type multis.
And not to start a pissing match, but has anyone compared the VPP or polar diagrams on speed for these boats?

Posts: 5,590 Naples, FL | IMO, most bang for the buck... Stiletto 27! cost you a 100g's for a new one if it existed, under $25K
Clayton I think most mutlis in the 30 ft. range will cost around $100,000 or more USD if new. Am I correct?

Posts: 5,590 Naples, FL | I just surfed across the Gulfstream 35 website. Line drawing looks good, although there appears to be a lot more rocker than I'm used to seeing.
It looks like a fast weekend cruiser, which may be just the thing....
Anyone have any comments on this boat?

The Reynolds 33 seems to be overpowered. It is also worth checking www.aegeanmarine.com - only don't pay in advance, it's a small company.

Posts: 1,200 Vancouver, BC | Yup...it was impressive how it overtook us on the F28R. However, if you have followed Luiz's story over the past 3+ years trying to get an order filled for a Catri...you'll understand my comment. Technically, the boat is out there...but the designer/builder has BIG issues. Mike: According to their website it sounds as though you liked the boat?
