Posts: 9,582 North-West Europe | As an ... relaxed Wave sailor, I would like to test something more exciting (and less costly than an A-cat)
More exciting then a Wave and cheaper then an A-cat. Humm, that would enclose almost all other catamaran designs out there. I say you have a WIDE choice here ! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />Wouter

The reason H-14's have come back in the US is because they are cheap, not because of HCE's attempts to meddle with the design. It's a new sail, a new boom and a new mast base (same old mast). By the time you're done, the "upgrades" will have cost more than the boat. Long live the classic 14! | | | Re: Anyone sailed the new Hobie 14 Power yet?

Posts: 1,253 Columbia South Carolina, USA | as a proud father, my 8 year old son just bought an older 14 and has sailed it solo 4-5 times without incident. His time on the Opti has helped him, and he will continue to race the Opti, but he sure loves going fast! btw I need a 14 tramp, cheap, used...

Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | I need a 14 tramp, cheap, used... Isn't that illegal? You have to at least wait for 18. Bill Hendrix is making trampolines for the 16 at a great value - I'm sure he could figure you one out for the 14.
