I hate to say it but You are absolutely right. I moved to Columbia (don't ask) a year ago. Right now our air conditioner is working at about 25% and were going to have highs around 102 and lows around 80 for the rest of the week. A comedian named Lewis Black said it best:

"I should have put deodorant on my ba**s."

"sounds like a little crotch-pot cookin"

If you think the sailing gods are laughing, you should hear Duke Power. I'll bet champagne corks are flying down at the power plant.
