Seven out of the nine sails used by the first three teams were produced by the Italian loft. Much to my surprise even Ullman GZ asymmetrics were fitted on the boat of the winner and of 3rd placed team (this left Gransegel with only a third of the podium).

Would anyone hazard a guess at a price for a full set of Ullman T sails (main jib, spin)? Interesting that they were using three different mains from the same loft.

Mains run about ~$1900 USD. Jibs are ~$750 USD. Spinny...don't know, but I suspect they are competitive with GranSegel which run around $1500 USD.



Seems like Zuccoli has a pretty nice setup in Italy. They show roof-top full-scale testing of sails on a rotating rig. Also, some scale wind tunnel testing.

It seems that Tornado sails are more expensive in Europe.
