So where I live I can keep up to a 26X13 Cat on the beach. I currently have a Prindle 19, but often go out with 3-4 people which is a bit much for the boat in most Southern California winds. Ideas or comments on going bigger? I know about the Stilettos (slightly too wide), but what else?
Criteria: Day sailor with good (similar to P-19) performance. Beach launched (by 4 People) 26' MAX LOA 13' MAX Beam
Lets see... Stiletto 23, Reynolds 21, ARC 21 & 22 (lighter). Didn't Mystere make a 6.5? I also think the Supercat 20 wide beam would also fit the bill. Oh, the choices we have. Now to find one.
There is a Reynolds 21 on ebay. Might be a little heavy for handling on the beach but mechanics can be worked out. 2 sets of Cat-eeze MIGHT work... <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I think ARC has an ARC 22 for sale. If that is out of budget go for a Supercat 20, but expect to put some work in as those boats are older...
I just modernized an old SC20 and money wise you probably end up better with an ARC 22 and still have a light boat you can still sail singlehanded in light wind or up to 4 in a breeze (although the designer will tell you, it's not build for that) it works pretty fine...
