I've been saying for over a year now, all they need to do is hook two of the foiling Moths together and they would have a foiling cat, looks like someone did it!

OK, so where do I get some T foil boards and rudders for my Blade?? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Is that a C class Cat? It's got a solid wing sail and look at those long rudder posts! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Yes, it's a c class. Here's the whole article on SA.

Can't wait to see the results in Sept.

Sailed a Moth a couple of weeks ago...what fun!

One of the first things talked about was how do we get the foils to make a catamaran fly. I would love to go and see the race. Do not know if I can make it though.

Dan, how hard would it be to take the wings off the sides of two Moths, add cross beams to join the two hulls, and go sailing? Seems that would be the quickest way to build a foiling cat.

I would love to sail this thing but not on a daily basis, for that give me a good beach cat that I can beat up.

Once you go cat you never go back! Nacra 5.2 (Elsies)#1499, running an inter17 spin!

Yes, but the moths are $14,000 apiece.

More $! and they are only 12 feet long...I think I would like to see at least 18, but what does it matter once you are up it is a very small waterline boat.
