At my Harken #2700 Micro CB jib-traveller, some balls were lost when the traveller car went off the track. So I ordered replacement balls from Harken #2708 according to the replacement chart:
http://www.harken.com/charts/ballbearingreplacement.php
The replacement balls now have a diameter of 5,0mm as mentioned in the chart, but the balls at my traveller car are 4,8mm (3/16") and the new balls don't slide in the car.
So 3/16" balls are not replaceable by 5,0mm balls although they have the same number at Harken.
I'm from Germany and we measure with metric system.
Are there different types of travellers with the same number for metric and imperial measured regions?
A very special question, but maybe the collected knowledge here knows an answer.
