Hi Phil,

They are 20 bucks, I will be stick one on Ed's boat at the club Satuday morning. Give Todd Berget the cash (He will be at the club as well.

Have some thin line and tie it to the leach of your sail between the batten pockets down low before you hoist the sail.

Go fast
Pointy end up 100% of the time.

Mark

I am in Bethesda in the day. I will be going to Annapolis this evening and be at Pirates Cove (across the street from WRSC) by 7 Am and shoving off on a monohull. Any of these locations work?

Doug and Andy break own record for NASS Oxford Race!

Doug Kirby and Andy Herbick on Tygart Racing broke the record they set last year to Oxford!. They finished with an elapsed time of 2:19:23 breaking last years record of 2:27:20. They missed the overall first gun by loosing a tacking duel to the finish with Donneybrook by just 4 seconds. Donneybrook owes Tygart Racing 10 minutes at the start. Their average speed was 12.6 nm/ hr over the 30 mile course and reported a top GPS speed of 26 knotts! WOW!

The Hammond results are also posted as Doug and Andy finished the 20 mile course before noon!

Some pics of Don Sievert rolling over us on the big cat. Bad angle for him; think it would have been better to go slow and get under us :-) We did try to give him some room so we wouldn't run him over when (not if) he went under.

Nice video. Hey is that Doug and Andy behind Don Sievert? I didn't think they followed anyone anymore. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
