So. Who's our next president going to be? How many people in the country will vote for a woman strictly because of her genitals? How many people in the country will vote for a black man because of his skin colour? I know one of my friends would vote for Hillary because she is a woman. The funny thing is that she would call anyone else sexist for not voting for a woman because of the candidates sex. How funny is that. Kinda backwards isn't it?
What's Canada like this time of year?

Karl, Karl, Karl. I have repented. I now type the straight and narrow path of political correcteness. You can't lure me away from pure catamaran sailing thoughts.
Nothing you can do will make me discuss the abysmal lack of health care in this Nation. And, I will not be tempted to point out that only one candidate has the intellectual integrity to attempt a political remedy.
So, even though Hilary Clinton is the only possible, rational, choice for President, you won't hear it from me.
Howzat Ding!? Did I do good?? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I don't really understand the ignore thing. Is it anger, disapointment, feeling insulted? Why?
I only use it when people are really, really rude and they have insulted me repeatedly. For others, politics is a no-no. Like the elephant in the living room. They ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist.
Personally, I don't think there is any other place better suited to discuss politics. We have common ground in our love of sailing. We are too far away to actually throw any punches. And, as adults we should be involved, it is a civic duty.
Now, if I can just convince you that your right wing lunatic fringe politics are absurd, all will be right with the world. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Be careful Karl. I have the photos you don't want anybody to see.
Ya know that Senator from Idaho that's in the news lately?
You have photos of that Senator? I don't even want to know what you did to get those! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
