The Wildcat regatta is on at Forster N.S.W. 29,30 Sept.& 1st Oct. The biggest mixed cat regatta in OZ often draws 100 or more entries. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> Big screen for watching footy finals, with lots of lively banter between codes and states it's a big weekend on and off the water. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

the regatta is out of Great Lakes S.C. At the Forster end of the lake, you just turn down a track, off the road along the coast. So Forster is probably your best bet. I think there may be more info on the regatta from locals, on the Catsailor.net forums under regattas.

It's a 12 hour drive for me, so I am going on memory, not local knowledge. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Most people camp at the venue. Otherwise plenty of accomodation in Forster which is about 10 mins or so away.
