I know the news has made it sound like Galveston has been wiped out but the reality is that the Island received very little damage and the NA's are still on. The damage was so minor in fact that many Texas teams were out practicing this weekend on East Beach where we will be racing.

Minor damage should be re-stated as NO damage. I was down there and nothing was changed. No damage, business as usual. Some roof damage at High Island but that is a bit north of Galveston. I think the media fluffed this one up a bit to boost ratings. Lee
