Posts: 3,528 Looking for a Job, I got credi... | Shouldn't there be a rule that says rudders have to be able to go through the surf? Like in the spirit of being an of-the-beach catamaran? Sounds like they are able to traverse the surf.

Posts: 130 CA | The only drawback I can establish with respect of the T-foil rudders as they are available now is traversing the surf. Ones that issue is solved then we'll all be sailing with them.

That is doable, Some people are working on it.
Currently we are working on a setup that will unlock the T-foils when the rudder kick-up mechanism is unlocked (like when hitting something)
