Hi,
I'm new to the forum. Have anyone got tips for moving the final mainsheet ratchet to mid-trampoline (as some Tornados did years ago?)? We will try this next year so any tips would be very helpful.

As I understand when the T went to double trap, the benefit of the mid tramp sheeting went away. I might be wrong, but most if not all the boats have gone to a standard main sheeting system.

Some Capricorns do it. Greg Goodall swears by it. I believe it is an option from AHPC and probably could be retrofitted to nearly any boat. Check out www.ahpc.com.au

Thanks for the link. My Dad is a little past the age of trapping but he still wants to race and this was one of the mods we discussed.

Race cheap, race faster, Damnit!
