Hello All!
Since I have been rebuilding/checking everything on this Supercat 19 project someone ask me to make sure the "proper" bearings are in the drums at each end of the jib roller furling system. I pulled the lower drum (with line) apart and it had white bearings in it. The Harken sticker is red and I always thought that red meant "high load" bearings are supposed to be installed. Is white the correct color? If not what should it be??
Thanks for reading!!

OK...Here's the bearing skinny from a true professional: Tom Haberman of ARC Cats...his quote to me: "Bearings for the high load drum & swivel are a pea green color, material is Torlon. The white ones are Delrin *( acetyl)."
There you go....like me you are all now up to speed on the proper bearings and the proper amount of brutality that they can take. Hope this closed this case.....Least I'm done!! :-)
